Slipper Sock Project

???????????????????????????????This is the completed slipper sock with the suede sole. The finishing of the slipper was quick and wasn’t too fussy. The overcast stitch  (or whipstitch) gives it the muluk look and the warm fuzzy on the inside makes it comfortable. This design was interesting and quick. It was done flat which helped me because then I didn’t need to worry about the gussets, like I do when socks are knit in the round. The yarn was loosely plied, which wasn’t the easiest with which to sew, but it was smooth and glided easily over and through the needles. If you would like to make the design, Kim Guzman has donated it as a free pattern that comes with the purchased “Boye” soles. What a great gift!
