Finished Refreshing Throw

Refreshing ThrowThis is the completed throw in the color palette of burgundy, off white, brown, and a jewel purple. As you can see there is a flower shape in the center of the square, which is done with front post double crochet stitches (FPdc). This a very satisfying square to make, especially if you do not normally enjoy making squares. There is a lot of texture and different stitches. Also, the square only took 15 minutes to make, so they worked up very quickly. My friend stitched the squares together and I finished the edging with a simple scallop in a burgundy cotton. It is quite lovely.
