This is a project that I made for my daughter’s teacher because the class calls themselves “the owls”. Her teacher displays owls all over her classroom, so I thought she would like a crocheted one! The pattern is from Interweave Crochet and it was very quick and easy. The head and body are made in one piece with very little shaping and the feet are made of a double layer with the toes being bobbles which connected the two pieces. The face is created separately with the safety eyes connected to the face, then the piece is sewed onto the head. The wings are also made with the double layered construction. It was a fun project and now this owl is displayed with the other owls in the classroom!
