Afghan

This is an afghan a group of ladies made for a widow at church. We wanted to make it unique so we decided on a color scheme, size of squares, size of hook, and then picked some random square patterns we liked. All of us made as many as we could by a certain date, then one lady crocheted the squares together and another did the edging. It was a delight to give it to the widow; she appreciated it so much and understood how much effort and love went into it. Now when she sees it on her bed, she remembers she is not alone–Christ is with her and so are we.
