Openwork Scarf

This scarf is another example of a lace pattern. The basic stitches are the same (ch, “anchor stitch”) but I added some flare to it by increasing the number of stitches within the chain space. The result is the fan-like appearance atop a hole. Again, it’s a very airy, light, delicate pattern that provides much drape to the piece. This yarn was fun to work with because it has a metallic thread running throughout it so it shimmers in the light therefore giving the wearer a “touch of elegance”.
